This Android is not a mere repackaging of the Motorola Cliq, in fact the Motorola Cliq XT is in several ways superior to the previous version. For starters, the design with an on screen keyboard has been re-imagined. In addition, there are several advanced features and capabilities which overall deliver a better performance.

The Motorola Cliq XT has a virtual QWERTY keyboard and measures approximately 4.6 inches tall by 2.34 inches wide and 0.5 inches thick. Weighing only 4.5 ounces and without a physical keyboard, the slim design Smartphone can be easily carried around and is thus more motile. But don't let its lightweight fool you: this phone has a lot of personality and a unique identity which you will love and respect once you get used to it. The design is elegant and sleek, and at the same time, it has been engineered to be durable and solid.

The Motorola Cliq XT has a 3 inch HVGA (320x480 pixels) capacitive touch screen which is quite user friendly and easy to master. The screen is large, sharp and the colors are vibrant and clear: images are bright and focused and so are the graphics. The keyboard is roomy enough and allows the rapid typing of text and email messages without cramping the fingers too much. One smart addition to this model's feature lineup is the inclusion of SWYPE, a proprietary technology which allows you to type by dragging the letter from letter. This might not sound very intuitive but once you get the hang of it, you will love this feature. It saves a lot of time and enables rapid typing.
