The 3-inch display supports 262,000 colors (240x400 pixels) — it is bright, shiny with vibrant colors and vivid and has sharp graphics. The brightness and the backlighting time can be adjusted as well as the intensity of the vibrations. The touch sensitive interface is sensitive and responsive and the unity allows for customizable calibration. The Behold has an accelerometer which changes the orientation display depending on the position of the phone. There is an HTML browser and full QWERTY keyboard.

The Behold showcases Samsung's new and proprietary TouchWiz user interface, which permits customization and personalization of the device. The phone carries a bunch of "widgets" for applications like clock, music player, photo gallery, calendar Bluetooth, Web browser, and notepad. Tapping the widgets allows a single touch access to the appropriate feature. The higher level of customization and sophistication allowed on this phone makes it stand out in the crowded market of touch screen phones. Although it may not be a smart phone, this machine offers a wide range of higher end features not typically found on such a device: speaker-independent voice dialing and commands, USB mass storage, PC syncing, Web-based POP3 e-mail, instant messaging, voice memo recorder, Telenav Navigator GPS support and Bluetooth with a stereo profile.

The 5-megapixel camera takes pictures in four resolutions, from large (2,560x1,920) down to small (640x480) and there is the choice between 2 wide resolutions. Other editing options consist of  quality settings (four), exposure metering, adjustable ISO, self-timer, auto-focus, 6 "scene" settings, brightness and white balance, four color effects, shutter sounds (three) feature etc. The three shooting modes (continuous, panorama, and mosaic) offer further customization and the aptly named "smile shot" detects when a person is smiling. If it "detects" a frown, it will take another picture. Pretty nifty! The camcorder takes short clips up to 4 minutes in 2 resolutions (320x240 and 176x144) with the possibility of longer clips in standard mode. The camcorder has 180MB of internal memory, and the microSD-card slot will accommodate cards up to 16GB. All in all, this is a decent quality phone which is easy to use, is reliable and performs well!
